Stripping solution

Agents that dissolve and swell the old coating so that it can be removed from the base material. Alkaline A. (leaching agents) mainly contain strongly alkaline substances (NaOH, KOH, Na₃PO₄). Solvent A. are organic solvents or their mixtures.
In order to avoid carry-over in the craft sector (e.g. tank construction), paint strippers are also used in gel form.
