Degradation products

Reaction products of organic additives in electrolytes by anodic (oxidation) or cathodic (reduction). If degradation products are enriched up to a certain concentration, they lead to quality defects. As a rule, they can only be removed together with the actual additives by unspecific activated carbon treatment or oxidation.
