In this variant of the dry galvanizing process, the wide strip is annealed, pickled, rinsed, treated with liquid flux and dried in the usual manner in a continuous plant. Separately, dry galvanizing is carried out in another continuous plant. The division into two plants has some advantages in the individual treatment of the steel qualities. Compared to the Sendzimir process, however, there is the disadvantage that both plants consume heat and that the residual acid must be rendered harmless.
