Atomic mass

Atomic mass (A) is the mass of the atoms of a chemical element. A distinction is made between relative atomic mass (Ar) and absolute atomic mass. While Ar is a dimensionless numerical value, the absolute atomic mass is given in kg, g or in atomic mass unit u. The atomic mass of a chemical element is given in the form of the atomic mass.
