ACSS-Test

Accelerated acetic acid sah spray test.

Corrosion test according to a variant of the salt spray method in which the samples are exposed to the action of a mist of 5 % sodium chloride solution (±0,5 %) at 35±3 °C. The test is carried out by a salt spray method. The solution is adjusted to a pH value of 3.2-3.5 with glacial acetic acid. Spray 1 to 2 ml per h per 80 cm2 sample surface. DIN EN ISO 9227 (prev.
